| Sri Lanka President Arrives in Egypt |

July 14 President Mahinda Rajapaksa has arrived at the Sharn El Sheian Airport in Egypt. He arrived at the airport at around 4.30 pm Sri Lankan time in order to attend the fifteenth Summit of the Non Aligned Movement to be held in Egypt. Egypt Minister of Environment M. George received the Sri Lankan President at the airport with state honours. A military salute was also conducted for the President. Reports from Egypt state that the Sri Lankan President received the highest honor paid to a state leader visiting Egypt. The state leaders’ summit of the NAM conference will take place tomorrow. The President will make a special address at the meeting. |
